Privacy notice
This notice explains how Twilper processes personal data when you use Online Brief Versturen or SendLetter.

1. Controller
Twilper, Merelstraat 64, 8916 AX Leeuwarden, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce 98440217, VAT NL005332508B94 is the controller. Contact privacy@onlinebriefversturen.nl or privacy@sendletter.eu about personal data.
2. Data and purposes
We process account and contact details, sender and recipient addresses, letter contents and uploaded documents, order and status data, payment references and necessary technical logs. We use this to perform the contract, produce and deliver letters, provide support, prevent fraud and faults, and meet tax and other legal duties.
If you choose the writing assistant, your instructions are sent to DeepSeek to create the draft. Do not use that feature for sensitive information that is not necessary for the draft.
3. Recipients and international transfers
We disclose only what is needed to print and postal partners such as Pingen, payment provider Stripe, email provider Resend, and our hosting and database providers. Google receives measurement and advertising data according to your cookie choice. Some providers may process data outside the EEA using an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses or another valid transfer mechanism where required.
We do not sell personal data or use letter contents for advertising.
4. Retention and security
We keep letter and order data as long as needed for production, delivery, status, proof, complaints and legal duties. Invoice and payment administration is kept for up to seven years. Temporary access data and technical error logs are removed earlier when no longer needed.
We use appropriate technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted connections and restricted access. No online service can eliminate every risk.
5. Cookies and measurement
Necessary cookies remember language, session and cookie choices. Google Analytics and Google Ads start in denied consent mode. Analytics and advertising storage is enabled only if you choose it, and you can change that choice through “Cookie preferences” in the footer.
6. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Email the privacy address above; we may ask for reasonable identity verification.
You may also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority or the privacy regulator where you live.
